2021 NBA Draft Final Big Board

All the time that goes into scouting ahead of the NBA Draft all leads up to draft night. From an outsider's perspective, the culmination of all that work is with the finalizing of our Big Board. Here at the Box and One, we try to wrap up our Big Board more than a week in advance of the draft as a way of not letting last minute perception swings and rumor mills influence our views on a prospect. Let the work and the film speak for itself.

This year, we revisit our tiers system, the approach we've used the last couple of seasons, as a way of grouping prospects together based on anticipated outcomes, weighing risk, reward and what type of impact they have at each. What we come up with are ten tiers of prospects, ranging from near-certain team pillars with All-NBA likelihood to role players at their apex.

With our 17,000 word final big board, get to know our top-100, with video scouting reports on our top-30, explanations for tier and order, breakdowns and analysis on their games and more.

Keon Johnson

A freak athlete with a raw offensive game, Keon Johnson can be polarizing in this draft class. In this piece, I detail why I'm a believer in his jump shot and the similarities between him and an All-Star who faced the same jump shot concerns in his draft year.

Jalen Suggs

Jalen Suggs gets very little love as the potential #2 prospect in this year's draft class. I make the case for Suggs to be mentioned here, from his elite ballscreen skills to his 'it' factor persona, making a unique comparison in the process.

Alperen Sengun

Drafting non-athletic bigs in the lottery is rare these days, but Sengun may have a case for the job. Why? He's putting up dominant numbers in a pro league and has more NBA-ready traits than you think.
